I have always had a strong affinity for the English language. Born in Panama and raised in New York City, I learned English as a second language and devoured every part of it.
My passion for proofreading came along in 2002 after my first English course at New York City College of Technology. I wanted to ensure that all of my submissions were perfect. I spent a great deal of time writing and re-writing to guarantee perfection.
From there, I briefly teamed up with an up and coming small publishing company and became a proofreader for all clients requiring my services.
I have a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene and a background in Marketing. I have my certification in Proofreading and I am a member of the US Proofreader Certification Association and the Society for Editors and Proofreaders. I am an avid believer in pursuing your education as far as the eye can see.
